Privacy Policy

Bring Your Bots (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Wright Mode ABN 64 613 826 876. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address when you sign up (directly or via Google sign-in). If you create a password, we store a salted hash — we never store your plaintext password.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store a record that you’ve purchased and your Stripe customer ID.
  • Anthropic API key — you provide your own API key which is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. It is only ever decrypted server-side when someone interacts with your bot. We cannot read your key at rest.
  • Bot content — the instructions, knowledge base, and settings you configure for your assistants.
  • Chat conversations — messages between end users and your bots are not stored by us. They are sent directly to the Anthropic API and are subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy.

How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the service (creating bots, processing chat requests)
  • To authenticate you and protect your account
  • To process your payment via Stripe
  • To send you important service updates (we don’t send marketing emails)

Data security

API keys are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Data retention

Your account data and bot configurations are retained for as long as your account is active. Chat conversations are not stored by us. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days.

Your rights

You can:

  • Access your data through your account dashboard
  • Update or correct your information at any time
  • Delete your bots at any time
  • Request deletion of your account by emailing us

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll notify you of significant changes via the email address on your account.
